Laba Migration Camp is a new mobile luxury accommodation that Moves Following the Great wildebeest Migration in Serengeti National Park Tanzania Region. From mid-July to late November, the camp Moves to the Northern part of Serengeti, The perfect base to View herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. From  Mid –December to March, The camp moves to the southern part of Serengeti not far from Ngorongoro crater, where the wildebeest spread to graze and calve their young ones and From April to July, the camp moves to the western corridor where wildebeest start massing before moving to North. One can be at the camp taking approximately a 6-7 hours drive from Arusha town to Serengeti National Park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close kogatende airstrip when the camp is in the North/ Grumeti airstrip in the west and Kusini airstrip when in the south then few minutes to be transferred to the camp.

 Laba Migration camp consists of 8 en suite comfortable and comfortable double tents and 2 family tents accommodating a Maximum of 22 guests overlooking the incredible scenic Serengeti plains and wildlife migration. Tents are well decorated, elevated on a raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilets, Bush showers with hot and cold water, sink safari bucket, 24/7 electricity energy available, mosquito nets, dressing mirrors, tables and chairs, free toiletries, free bottled water, pillows and white duvets, bathrobes, slippers and other facilities. Tents have verandas and sitting areas overlooking the spectacular view of the wilderness, Serengeti plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen-sized beds. The camp has a Cracking fireplace pit where guests can relax and share stories and experiences of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests at night and during cold days. Tents have single beds for individuals, double beds for two people /couples as well as family group rooming options.

Laba migration camp offers   different services and facilities which include;

A dining area that serves different menus both continental and local cuisine meets guests’ appetites.  The camp offers Continental /English breakfast, picnic lunch and dinners served by trained, friendly and organized staff with skilled chefs. You can have meals in any place of your choice either indoors or in the bush. They serve bush barbecue diners overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast enjoying the breezes and the Morning Sunrises.

A Fully stocked bar  Tent with a shared lounge offering a good selection of both soft and hard refreshments that includes; beers, sodas, wines, and water,  you relax on veranda which is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the African bush as you sip the cocktail overlooking at the spectacular views over the endless Serengeti plains, Wildlife beast migration, garden and surrounding areas,   During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti savannah plains.

 Services include; laundry and housekeeping services, Airport transfers and pickups since the camp is close to the airstrips, ample parking space available, and walking night safaris.

 Wifi hotspot internet in the main building that enables guests to keep in contact with their families and friends.

Activities to do at the camp;  Hot air Ballooning ride and game viewing that gives a chance to guests who want to see a variety of wildlife crossing, sundowners picnics, nature walks, visit local villages especially the Masaai etc.

Serengeti National Park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and  Mara ecosystem in Simiyu region.  The park is among the most popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering   5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west.  June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti National Park since it’s dry season, it offers the best wildlife viewing when wild beasts are moving seeking pasture and water. It’s the annual migration of wild beasts.   The park contains over  70 big mammals like  Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas, Giraffes, and antelopes but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos, ostriches, grey-breasted spurfowl,  Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for a long time.
