Serenity On The Lake : Serenity on the lake is a mid- range accommodation on the shores of Lake Victoria outside Tanzania’s famous Serengeti national park in the western corridor. The lodge is situated in Mwanza just 20km to the park in a perfect place for relaxation and safari adventure to tourists and travellers who want to explore and discover Lake Victoria and Serengeti national park. It taking approximately 6-7 hour’s drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Serenity on the lake consists of over 5 en suite comfortable and spacious rs offering single beds for individuals, double and triples occupancy overlooking the savannah Serengeti plains with Comfort. Tents are well decorated, elevated with raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, Bush showers with hot and cold water bathroom, air conditioning, solar energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries , complementary bottled water and other facilities. Rooms have verandas and sitting area overlooking the spectacular view over Serengeti plains, wildlife roaming around and surrounding areas .ROOMs are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen and king sized beds. The camp has Cracking fireplaces where you can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Cost of the tents at the camp ranges from 200$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.

The camp offer Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and separate dining areas, they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners, served by welcoming staff. You can have bush breakfast as you enjoy the morning sunrises and bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky. During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti savannah plains.

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Giraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos , ostriches , grey breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for a long time.
