10 days Mara and Serengeti wildlife and Zanzibar safari is a tour which takes place in the famous Masai Mara reserve in Kenya and also involves a tour to Serengeti national park in the northern part of Tanzania.

During the tour, you will also visit the Ngorongoro crater for a big 5 experience and enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of Lake Manyara as you explore the diverse habitat of the national park. After your wildlife safari experience, you will also visit the Zanzibar island for a holiday along the white sand beaches while enjoying views of the Indian ocean. You will also visit the Stone town during the 10 days tour.

Day 1; pick up and drive to Masai Mara national reserve

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and welcome you for your safari. you will also have a short briefing in regards to your safari. You will continue your drive to Masai Mara national reserve in the south western part of Kenya where you will check in at your lodge.

After having lunch, you will also engage in an evening game drive around Masai Mara national reserve where you will explore the destination in search of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, antelopes, gazelles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras among others. Your guide will drive you to your lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night at AA Mara lodge.

Day 2; full day in Masai Mara national reserve

After an early breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you around Masai Mara national reserve where you will engage in a morning game drive and explore the savannah plains in search of wildlife species and also to enjoy the scenery at the destination. You will have lunch after your game drive in the reserve.

You will engage in another game drive around Masai Mara national reserve and enjoy in search of wildlife species such as giraffes, hippos, antelopes, zebras, cheetahs among others. After the game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at AA Mara lodge.

Day 3; drive to Serengeti national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Serengeti national park. Your guide will meet you at Isebania border and you will cross to Tanzania and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mawe tented camp.

Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park

Your guide will pick you up from your lodge in Serengeti national park after an early breakfast at the lodge. You will engage in a morning game drive around the open savannah plains in the national park in search of wildlife species such as wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, kudu, giraffes, cheetahs, lions, leopards, gazelles among others. After your morning game drive you will have lunch.

You will also engage in another game drive around Serengeti national park after lunch and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mawe tented camp.

Day 5; drive to Ngorongoro crater

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park and your guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will visit the Ngorongoro crater and engage in a game drive along the crater floor after descending about 600 meters into the crater. You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, antelopes, buffalos, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas among others.

After this experience you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 6; drive to Lake Manyara national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge ahead of your drive to Lake Manyara national park where you will engage in a game drive and explore the diverse habitat in search of wildlife species such as the tree climbing lions. You will also have lunch after checking in.

During your game drive around Lake Manyara national park, you will look out for flamingos along the shores of Lake Manyara and also other wildlife species such as elephants, antelopes, zebras, kudu, waterbucks, baboons, and monkeys among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at Lake Manyara Tortilis camp.

Day 7; drive to Arusha and flight to Zanzibar

You will start with breakfast at your lodge before checking out of the lodge and your guide will drive you to Arusha.

You will have a flight to Zanzibar and on arrival on the island, you will be driven to your hotel where you will check in. Dinner and overnight stay at Flame tree cottages.

Day 8; Safari blue experience

You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island is which is a truly amazing experience sailing in the beautiful traditional Dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride, enjoy delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, snorkeling and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Flame tree cottages.

Day 9; beach experience

On the 9th day of your 10 days Mara and Serengeti wildlife and Zanzibar safari , After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a visit around Stone town where you will enjoy exploring the alleyways and seeing different landmarks in the town. You will also spend the day relaxing at the beach and enjoying views of the Indian ocean. Your dinner and overnight will be at Flame tree cottages.

Day 10; end of safari

You will have breakfast at your hotel in Zanzibar ahead of your flight from Zanzibar which will bring your safari to an end.
