6 days wildlife, Maasai and night game safari is a tour which will involve a number of activities and also take place in Lake Manyara national park and also the famous Ngorongoro conservation area.
You will also take part in a Maasai cultural experience, canoeing, canopy walk and also game drives during the 6 days Tanzania safari. The safari will start and also end with drop off in Arusha.
Day 1; pick up and Maasai cultural tour
You will be welcomed from the airport by your guide who will brief you shortly about your safari and you will be driven to your hotel for check in. You will also engage in a Maasai cultural tour on this day and interact with the Maasai people and get to know more about their culture and way of life.
You will also learn how to make local arts and also enjoy a traditional lunch with the Maasai. After your cultural experience, your guide will drive you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 2; Lake Duluti tour and canoeing
Your breakfast will be served at your hotel and you will check out ahead of your tour to Lake Duluti. You will visit Lake Duluti which is a crater lake which is found just outside Arusha. You will engage in canoeing on the lake and also enjoy seeing different bird species during your canoe ride which takes about 2 hours.
You will also have lunch and return to Arusha for a city tour. You will have dinner and overnight stay at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 3; drive to Lake Manyara national park
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to Lake Manyara national park where you will engage in game drives as you search for various wildlife species such as the tree climbing lions, elephants, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hippos, monkeys, baboons, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes and many others.
You will also spot various bird species as you engage in a game drive around Lake Manyara national park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Twiga lodge.
Day 4; canopy walk and night game drive
You will have breakfast served at your lodge ahead of your canopy walk experience in Lake Manyara national park. You will walk along a bridge which is suspended about 18 meters off the ground in the forests of the national park and enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding areas.
After having lunch you will explore more of Lake Manyara national park and search for the different wildlife species during an afternoon game drive and also experience a night game drive around the national park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Twiga lodge.
Day 5; drive to Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro conservation area for a safari. You will descend about 600 meters to the crater for a search of the various wildlife species the like the big five especially the rare Black Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, buffalos among others.
The crater which is home of more wildlife like waterbucks, hyenas, warthogs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, hartebeests, elands and many others and also a variety of birds including flamingos. After your game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando coffee lodge
Day 6; drive to Arusha
Your breakfast will be served at your lodge ahead of your drive to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport or hotel which will bring the safari to an and.
