Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Ol Doinyo Lengai Hike, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Day 1: Pick up, Ol Doinyo Lengai Hike
You shall be picked up by our driver guide, and then transfer you to the lodge. Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred mountain of Maasai people, which you will get to climb to the edge of its crater.
Once at the lodge, head out for Lake Natron shore visit to admire the beautiful crimson lake, filled with pink flamingos.
Enjoy dinner at the lodge, and relax. The climb of this active volcano takes place at night. Departure from the camp is around 11 pm. You will start climbing around midnight, and so will be at the top around 5am. You can rest while waiting for the beautiful sunrise to finally admire the wide plain of Serengeti that will stretch in front of you.
The descent must be done before it gets too hot, because the sun heats up very quickly the slopes very of volcanic ash. The round trip takes 10-11 hours.

Day 2: Descent, Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands
You will descend and return to the lodge at approximately 11am. Freshen up, enjoy a late breakfast. Thereafter, check out and with a packed lunch proceed on a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving late in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay. Look forward to visiting the largest caldera the next day!

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, with a packed lunch you shall descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a crater drive around the Ngorongoro conservation area in search for wildlife species at the crater like eland, zebras, warthogs, wildebeest, buffalos, and elephants among others. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for hosting all the big 5 animals! You will also enjoy the beautiful views around the crater and also look out for flamingos along the shores of Lake.
Thereafter, you shall proceed for a transfer to Serengeti National Park, looking out for various wild game punctuated with a lunch stop. Once in the park, proceed to the camp, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day to explore the Serengeti National Park on a game drive while looking for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, among others.
You can also enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes among others. Your guide will take you back to the lodge later. Dinner and night at the camp.

Day 5: Departure, En-route Ol Duvai Gorge
You will have breakfast as you prepare for your drive to Arusha while enjoying another game drive in Serengeti National Park for more wild game view!
