Detailed Itinerary of 21 Days Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival in Kigali, you will be met by our company representative and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour
Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, and thereafter get into the city, exploring the different attraction therein including the Kimironko market and the Gisozi genocide memorial site, Inema Art Gallery, among so many others.
Enjoy lunch and a relaxed afternoon at the hotel, as you look forward to your adventure in Volcanoes the next day. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Iby’wachu Cultural Experience
After having breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, you will start your journey to Volcanoes national park. Arrive at the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on a cultural experience, acquainting yourself with the local Rwandan culture. Dinner and an overnight stay at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge for Mid-range, Virunga Inn Resort for Luxury.

Day 4: Optional Golden Monkey tracking, Diane Fossey Museum
Today you will go for golden monkey tracking. This activity also takes like 2-3 hours in the Virunga forest. Enjoy a Dian fossey museum visit where you will spend about 2 hours learning about the famous gorilla lady with artifacts that belonged to her along with an impression of the Virunga ranges. This is a thrilling walk through the museum. Later return back to your lodge for early lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing at your lodge. Take a city walk in the evening around Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Parc National Des Volcans
Early in the morning after breakfast and a briefing from the RBD officials, set off for the gorilla tracking. This experience of gorilla tracking is a once in a life time adventure. The rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search for the Gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about 1 hour. The activity in Rwanda can take 3-5 hours since the gorillas move up and down.
This is an awesome and exciting moment. En route there are a lot of other types of the primates that you can spot such as the monkeys, as well as bird species and so more. Return for lunch at the Lodge and relax for the rest of the afternoon. Return for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Kigali, Flight to Nairobi (Own Booking)
After breakfast, you will proceed to transfer to Kigali arriving in time for your flight to Nairobi. You will be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Best Western Nairobi for Mid-range, Nairobi Serena Hotel for Luxury.

Day 7: Transfer to Ol Pajeta, Afternoon Chimpanzee Sanctuary Visit
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, check out for a transfer to Ol Pajeta Conservancy which is located along the Mount Kenya and Aberdare Mountain ranges. Enjoy amazing views of the countryside and the landscapes of Kenya, with a lunch stop. Arrive in the afternoon at the lodge, check in and relax at the lodge. Enjoy a Chimpanzee Santuary visit for a chance to come up-close with the primates. Dinner and an overnight stay at the SweetWaters Lake Serena Hotel.

Day 8: Wild Dogs Tracking, Night Game Drive in Ol Pajeta Conservancy
After an early breakfast, embark on a wild dogs tracking expedition, for a chance to see them in the wild. Look out for other animals as well during this experience. Return to the lodge, relax and enjoy lunch and a leisurely afternoon.
After dinner, embark on a night game drive experience, for a chance to watch the wilderness and creatures therein. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay as above.
Day 9: Drive to Masai Mara national reserve, Game Drive
After your breakfast at the lodge, proceed for a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will look out for wildlife species such as African big five like lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos and other game as you drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp for Luxury, Mara Sopa Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 10&11: Full Day at Masai Mara national reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of your game viewing activity in the open savannah plains of the reserve. You will search for a variety of wildlife species such as the big five which include lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos as well as other wildlife species such as such as giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, elands, zebras, topis among others. Chance to witness the wildebeest migration crossing.
You will enjoy your lunch after your morning game drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around the reserve and watch wildlife species grazing in the plains. After lunch, you will have a Maasai cultural tour introducing you to one of the most popular tribes and cultures in Africa. Thereafter, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 12: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have a very early breakfast and checkout from the lodge as early as possible around 6 am. We drive out of the reserve through the Oloololo gate in the western part of the reserve to the boarder of Isebania. We get clearance from the border customs office then after proceed to Serengeti National Park. Have an en-route game drive as you drive to the camp. Chance to spot the migrating herds! Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Full day in Serengeti National Park (Northern Serengeti)
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park. During your morning game drive, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch before another game driving experience in the national park in the afternoon. These game drives will chance you spotting the iconic and much sought after Mara River Crossing!
Your guide will drive you around the national park in the northern part of Serengeti national park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains, especially the migrating herds! Chance to witness the great wildebeest Mara River crossing. You will return to your lodge after this experience for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 14: Mara River Area Game Drive, Transfer to Central Serengeti
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around the Mara River area of Serengeti national park yet again, in the quest to see the Mara River crossing. Thereafter, proceed to the central Serengeti plains, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch before another game driving experience in the national park in the afternoon.
Your guide will drive you around the national park in the central part of Serengeti national park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains. You will proceed to your lodge after this experience for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Optional Crater Rim Walk
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, and then proceed for a transfer out of the Serengeti enjoying yet another game viewing experience with your packed lunch as you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will get to visit the Olduvai Gorge for a chance to learn about the early life of man and findings by Dr. Mary and Louis Leaky.
Proceed through the conservation area enjoying game viewing as well as spot the local Maasai people freely moving within the conservancy and the wildlife!
Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 16: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
After breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, you will enjoy a Maasai Bomas visit to interact with the locals, and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above

Day 17: Materuni Waterfalls Visit and Chemka Hotsprings
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed to enjoy a Materuni waterfalls visit at the foothills of the Kilimanjaro Mountain, all the while enjoying views of the mountain on a clear day. Walk through communities, scenic areas and the waterfalls, as well as views of the tallest mountain in Africa. Enjoy a local lunch, and thereafter return to the lodge. Relax for the rest of the afternoon, dinner and an overnight stay at Zawadi House Lodge for Mid-range, Arusha Serena Resort and Spa for Lower-Luxury.

Day 18: Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking)
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Arusha airport or JRO for your flight to Zanzibar Island. You will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar on arrival and driven to your hotel for check in. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 19: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will also take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will drive to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 20: Zanzibar Beach Experience
