Wayo walking camp
Wayo walking camp is a mobile mid-range accommodation that follows the great wildebeest migration found in southwest protected areas of the northern part of Tanzania. The camp is operated and owned by Wayo Africa Camps which runs unique properties across Tanzania. The camp is perfect for safari adventure for tourists and travelers, especially in the months mentioned above for game viewing during the Great wild beast migration. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6-7 hours’ drive from Arusha town to Serengeti National Park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close airstrip then a few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Wayo walking camp consists of 10 en suite comfortable and comfortable tents overlooking the incredible scenic Serengeti plains and wildlife migration. Tents are well decorated, elevated on a raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilets, Bush showers with hot and cold water, safari bucket, 24/7 electricity energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries, free bottled water, slippers and other facilities. Tents have verandas and sitting areas overlooking the spectacular view of the wildlife migration, Serengeti plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. The camp has a Cracking fireplace pit where guests can relax and share stories and experiences of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests at night and during cold days. Tents have single beds for individuals, double beds for two people /couple and triple rooming options for a group or family

The Main Mess dining tent serves different menus both continental and local cuisine that meets guests’ appetites. The camp offers Continental /English breakfast, picnic lunch and dinners served by trained, friendly and organized staff with skilled chefs. You can have meals in any place of your choice either in the gardens or in the bush. They serve dinner options and bush barbecue diners overlooking the stars in the sky and bush breakfast enjoying the breezes and the Morning Sunrises
A BAR with a good selection of both soft and hard refreshments that includes; beers, sodas, wines, and water you relax on the veranda which is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the African bush as you sip the cocktails overlooking the spectacular views over the endless Serengeti plains, Wildlife beast migration and surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti savannah plains.
Services include; laundry and housekeeping services, Airport transfers and pickups since the camp is close to the airstrips, ample parking space available, and walking night safaris.

Serengeti National Park is situated in Tanzania extending to the southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in Simiyu region. The park is among the most popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti National Park since it’s dry season, it offers the best wildlife viewing when wildebeest are moving to seek pasture and water. It’s the annual migration of wild beasts. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas, Giraffes, and antelopes a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos, ostriches, grey breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for a long time. It’s 60$ to enter the park. There are more activities to do while in the park and at the lodge which includes a game drive in the park which enables you to spot different animals, nature walks in the park, and Hot air balloon rides that give a good view of the Serengeti plains at 500$ per person, hand craft safaris, Camping, Flying safaris, cultural visits in the villages, Bird watching, traditional dances, see wild beast migration, etc. The park has different accommodations; Budget, mid-range and luxury lodges that are convenient and affordable to each guest visiting Serengeti.
