Ubuntu Migration camp
Ubuntu Migration camp is a mid -range mobile accommodation owned and operated by Asilia camps and lodge that run different accommodations across Tanzania that move with the great wildebeest migration in Serengeti national park Tanzania Region. In Mid-November to mid-March the camp moves to southern part of Serengeti and mid-June to October, it moves to northern Serengeti national Park. The camp is close to Lamai airstrip in the northern part taking about 1-hour 40-minute drive from camp and Serengeti South 90-minute drive from camp. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6 hour’s drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from arusha city. The camp is convenient in an ideal place for safari adventure to tourists, travellers who want to the park with its stunning views and wide range of animals especially on Great Migration.
Ubuntu Migration camp consists of over 10 comfortable and spacious safari canvas Tents overlooking the Serengeti plains and wildebeest migrations with high level of Comfort. Tents are well decorated, raised on platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, Bush showers with hot and cold water heated on fire, safari bucket shower, solar energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries , complementary bottled water and other facilities. Tents have verandas and sitting area overlooking the spectacular view over Serengeti plains, wildlife and surrounding areas .Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen and king sized beds. The camp has Cracking fireplaces where you can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days while on sundowners. Cost of the tents at the camp ranges from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.

A dining tent that serves different menu both continental and local cuisine that meets guests appetite. The camp offers Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and separate dining areas, they also serve out and indoors dinner options and bush barbecue diners, served by welcoming staff. You can have bush breakfast as you enjoy the morning sunrises and bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky.
A well -stocked bar Tent with shared lounge offering good selection of both soft and hard refreshments like beers, sodas, wines ,water , you relax in veranda which is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the African bush as you sip the cocktail overlooking at the spectacular views over the endless Serengeti plains, Wildlife beast migration and surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti savannah plains.
