Detailed Itinerary 7 Days Chimpanzee, Gorilla Trekking and Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe, Transfer to Kibale National Park, Bigodi Swamp Walk
Our Uganda safari guide shall pick you from Entebbe and, after a short briefing, drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale Forest National Park is home to almost 13 primate species. These include red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey, and many more. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and proceed with the journey to the Kibale forest, with a visit to the Bigodi Swamp. Engage in a Bigodi swamp walk for an opportunity to see various birds in the park. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for dinner, and overnight stay Chimpanzee Forest Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will set out for chimp tracking within the Kibale Forest. During your search, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, monkeys, and other animals like the forest elephants, bush pig and duiker, warthogs, reptiles, and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies.
After tracking, your guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, enjoy views of the crater lakes. Check in at the lodge and rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hab Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 3 & 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive. During the game drive you will be able to spot different animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks which will be grazing in open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas which will be looking for a morning hunt, view bird species among others. After the game drive you will have lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connect lake Edward and lake George. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 to 3 hours, you will be able to view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, fish eagles, king fisher’s among others. After the boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Ishasha Game Drive, Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the lodge and drive through the Ishasha sector for a chance to spot the tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will check in at your lodge and rest at the lodge. Thereafter, get to meet the oldest inhabitants of the area, the Batwa for a cultural tour. Interact with them and get to experience life as they do. Return to the lodge and relax as you wait to enjoy your dinner and spend the night at Buhoma Haven Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity, which starts with your guide driving you to the national park headquarters, where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking.
After your briefing, you will adventure into Bwindi forest following different trails as you look for the endangered gorillas. You will also see different primate species in the forest as well as a variety of bird and butterfly species. You will spend about 1 hour with the gorillas and after this gorilla trekking experience, you will return to your lodge where you will relax and also spend the night at Buhoma Haven Lodge.

Day 7: Drive to Entebbe, En-route Equator Experience
Drive Time: Approx. 9 hours. Flight Option Available
You will have breakfast and then check out of your lodge ahead of your drive to Entebbe. You will have a stop at the equator and have your lunch en-route. Proceed to your hotel of stay in Entebbe, or airport for your flight. This ends your 7 Days Chimpanzee, Gorilla Trekking and Wildlife Safari.
