Day 1: Pick up in Kampala/Entebbe, Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Boat Safari

As early as 6:30am, our company Uganda safari guide shall pick you up from your location or hotel of stay in Kampala or Entebbe, and welcome you for you’re the safari. After a short debrief, proceed on a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park driving via the Kampala-Gulu highway with en-route stops for refreshments. You shall arrive in the early afternoon at the park, proceed to the top of the falls for an amazing view of the thunderous Murchison Falls as they squeeze through a 7m narrow gorge.

After lunch at a select restaurant, proceed to embark on a 2-3 hour boat safari on the River Nile, looking out for the various wildlife along the shores like elephants and buffaloes as they get a dip or drink. Also look out for lizards, warthogs and others, including hippos and crocodiles in the waters and birds in Murchison Falls National Park like the cattle egrets, red-throated bee-eaters, African fish eagles, and if lucky the rare shoebill stork among so many other birds.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Departure

Wake up very early for a cup of tea or coffee and thereafter head out for a morning game drive as early as 6:30am. This is a great time to catch the nocturnal animals returning from their nightly duties. Explore the Queen and Albert track trails for a chance to spot the different animals including lions, giraffes, jackals, waterbucks, elephants, Uganda kobs, the Jackson’s Hartebeests among so many others. After 4 full hours of game viewing, return to the lodge for breakfast.

Thereafter, check out and proceed on a transfer back to Kampala with a lunch stop en-route. You shall be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight, or hotel of stay which will bring your 2 Days Murchison Falls Safari to an end.
