7 days Serengeti wildlife safari is a wildlife viewing experience which will start in Arusha and also involve a safari around different parts of Serengeti national park.
You will explore the central, northern and southern parts of Serengeti national park during your 7 days Serengeti wildlife safari and also engage in activities such as morning and afternoon game drives as well as a hot air balloon safari over the endless savannah plains of Serengeti national park.
During the safari, you will also visit the Ngorongoro crater and engage in a game drive along the crater floor as you look out for various wildlife species such as the big 5 which include elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos and other bird species along the shores of Lake Magadi in the crater.
Your 7 days Serengeti safari will end with drop off in Arusha.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1; flight to Serengeti national park
You will drive to the airport in Arusha for your flight to Seronera airstrip in Serengeti national park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by your guide who will drive you to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will explore the central part of Serengeti national park also known as the Seronera area where you will look out for various wildlife species as you enjoy an afternoon game drive. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery made up of acacia woodlands and endless savannah plains during your Serengeti safari as you search for elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, buffalos among others. Your guide will drive you to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 2; full day in central Serengeti
With your packed lunches, you will start your full day experience of game viewing around the central plains of Serengeti national park. You will have an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of your morning game drive in Serengeti national park. You will have a lunch break after your morning game drive.
After lunch you will explore more of the endless plains of Serengeti national park in search of wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, hippos, kudu, giraffes, kudu, waterbucks, lions, elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, hyenas among others. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.
Day 3; drive to Serengeti north
You will have breakfast at your lodge and after checking out, your guide will drive you from Seronera area to the northern plains of Serengeti national park for more wildlife viewing and exploring of the beauty of Serengeti. You will check in at your lodge and have lunch as you prepare for your afternoon game drive.
During your safari in the northern plains of Serengeti national park, you will explore the savannah as you look out for giraffes, elephants as well as predators like lions, leopards and cheetahs. After the game drive, your dinner and overnight will be at Gnu migration camp.
Day 4; hot air balloon safari and game drive
After waking up early at your lodge, you will be driven to the landing site for a hot air balloon safari experience. You will have a short briefing at the site as the balloons are inflated and after this you will proceed for your aerial view over the northern Serengeti plains. You will enjoy an English breakfast after the hot air balloon ride.
You will meet your guide after your hot air balloon safari and continue with your game drive around the northern plains of Serengeti national park as you search for wildlife species such as antelopes, zebras, lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards among others. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Gnu migration camp.
Day 5; transfer to Serengeti southern plains
You will have breakfast at your lodge and after breakfast, your guide will drive you to the southern part of Serengeti national park where you will search for wildlife species such as the big 5 like elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards and rhinos among other wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, dik dik, elands, impalas, kudu, hippos, waterbucks, hartebeests and many others.
You will have dinner and spend the night at Ndutu safari lodge.
Day 6; drive to Ngorongoro crater
You will have breakfast as you prepare for a drive from your lodge to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend into the crater and engage in a game drive as you look out for elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, dik dik, antelopes, and warthogs among others.
You will also enjoy amazing views around the Ngorongoro crater during your game drive and also see flamingos along the shores of the alkaline lake found in the crater. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Karatu tented lodge.
Day 7; departure
After breakfast at your lodge on the last day of your 7 days Serengeti wildlife safari, your guide will drive you to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport which will bring your Tanzania wildlife safari to an end.
