During your 7 days Serengeti and Uganda safari, you will engage in various activities such as morning and afternoon game drives, hiking experiences, rhino tracking as well as boat rides.

Serengeti national park is a popular destination that is visited annually and is famous for the wildebeest migration. You will also visit the Ngorongoro crater which is known for its large concentrations of wildlife species.

Murchison falls national park is found in Uganda and is known for its thunderous falls and is also one of the most visited national parks in the country. You will begin your 7 days Serengeti and Uganda safari in Arusha and the safari will end in Entebbe.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Serengeti national park

Your guide will pick you up from the airport and you will be welcomed for your 7 days safari and also have a short briefing before continuing your journey to Serengeti national park to begin your game drives and to explore Tanzania’s oldest national park.

Upon arrival in the national park, you will check in at your lodge and have your lunch as you prepare for an afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park. You will be driven around the wilderness of the national park in search of the various wildlife species like the big five which includes elephants, lions, buffalos and rhinos. Other wildlife species you will see during your afternoon game drive include giraffes, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, gazelles, impalas, zebras, kudu and many others. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 2; morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park

On the 2nd day of your 7 days safari, you will have a full day to explore Serengeti national park after having breakfast at your lodge. You will start your day with a morning game drive during which you will see various wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, cheetahs, elands, impalas, waterbucks, kudu, dik dik among others.

You will have lunch in the wilderness of Serengeti national park as you watch the wildlife species moving around the savannah in the distant plains. After lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive where you will drive around the kopjes and enjoy spotting lions on the Simba kopjes. You will have dinner and overnight after your game viewing experience at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.

Day 3; drive to Ngorongoro conservation area

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for a transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will descend into the 600 meters deep crater which was formed as a result of volcanic activity and is the world’s largest inactive caldera. You will have lunch at your lodge before descending into the crater.

You will enjoy seeing various wildlife species as you explore the Ngorongoro crater such as cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, wildebeests, elands, antelopes, zebras, hippos, impalas, gazelles and numerous bird species such as flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive experience in Ngorongoro, your guide will drive you back to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight Tulia boutique hotel and spa.

Day 4; flight to Entebbe

You will have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha and your guide will drive you to the airport for your flight to Entebbe. You will be welcomed by your guide at Entebbe international airport and you will be driven to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night at 2 friends hotel Entebbe.

Day 5; drive to Murchison falls national park

After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe during your 7 days safari, your guide will drive you to Murchison falls national park. You will have a stop at Zziwa rhino sanctuary where you will have an experience of seeing rhinos on foot. You will also have your lunch en route and continue to Murchison falls national park.

You will have a top of the falls experience in Murchison falls national park where you will enjoy seeing the beautiful Murchison falls and the scenery around the national park and later your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge.

Day 6; game drive and boat cruise

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Murchison falls national park during your 7 days safari and your guide will drive you around the national park across the savannah vegetation. You will enjoy seeing predators in the morning as well as other wildlife species such as elephants, leopards, hartebeests, giraffes as well as various bird species. After your morning game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch.

You will have a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls after your lunch at your lodge in Murchison falls national park. The boat ride will take about 2 to 3 hours as you enjoy the scenery around the national park and also see wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, hippos as well as a variety of bird species. You can opt for a hiking experience to the top of the falls after the boat ride or enjoy a boat ride back to the landing point from where you will transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge.

Day 7; Departure

On the last day of your 7 day safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge in Murchison falls national park and proceed to Kampala where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or at Entebbe airport which will bring your safari to an end.
