3 days Uganda chimpanzee and wildlife safari takes you on a visit to kibale national park a home of 13 primates such as chimpanzees L’Hoests monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys and Pottos and also queen Elizabeth national park which is a habitant for a variety of wildlife. Queen Elizabeth national park is a home to many animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas, savannah elephants and many bird species.

Detailed itinerary for the safari
Day 1: transfer from kampala to kibale national park
On the first day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for morning breakfast then you will be picked up by your safari driver who will brief you about the safari, check out of your lodge and then embark on your journey to kibale national park. From Kampala to kibale national park it is a drive of approximately 5 hours via mubende – fort portal route, on your way you will make a stopover in fort portal town for lunch and then proceed to kibale national park. When you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge, relax and in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: chimpanzee tracking and transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park
On the second day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for morning breakfast and then drive to the park’s headquarters for chimpanzee tracking experience, at the headquarters you will be briefed about the safari and also be assigned a ranger guide who will assist you on the experience. You will go into the forest where you will see many primates such as chimpanzees, L’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, mangabeys and baboons. You will also encounter elephants and many bird species, after tracking you will drive back to your lodge for lunch, check out of your lodge and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which is a drive of 2-3 hours. Upon reaching the park you go for an afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel where you will see many animals like herds of buffaloes, elephants and may birds. After the cruise you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala
On third day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for early morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and drive to kasenyi plains for a morning game drive, while driving through the park you will enjoy sights of animals like lions, Uganda kobs, herds of elephants and many more. After the game drive you will exit the park and embark on your journey back to Kampala, in mbarara you will make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and proceed to Kampala, upon reaching Kampala you will be dropped of either ta your hotel in Kampala or at the airport marking the end of your Uganda safari.
