Nyerere national park Tanzania : Nyerere national park is a destination which is found in the southern part of Tanzania and it is also known as Selous game reserve.
The national park is among the largest in Tanzania covering about 30,000 square kilometers. Nyerere national park consists of savannah plains, lakes, rivers, grassland and also Miombo woodlands.

Non East African citizens are charged park entrance fee of 70 USD in the peak season and 60 USD in the low season for adults. Children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 20 USD for safaris to Nyerere national park.
Residents or expatriates visiting Nyerere national park are charged park entrance fee of 35 USD in the high season and 30 USD in the low season for adults while children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged park entrance fee of 10 USD.
East Africans or Tanzanians visiting Nyerere national park in Tanzania are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings for adults and 2000 Tanzania shillings for children aged between 5 and 15 years.
The park entrance fees indicated above exclude 18% tax and are valid until 30th June 2022. Children below the age of 5 years are not charged park entrance fees for tours to Nyerere national park.
A tour around Nyerere national park can involve a walking safari around the destination, by driving around the national park and a boat tour can also be done when exploring the national park during the different months of the year.
