7 days Masai Mara & Rwanda Gorillas safari : During the 7 days Masai Mara and Rwanda gorilla safari, you will engage in a wildlife viewing experience around the famous Masai Mara reserve in Kenya and also visit Volcanoes national park for a gorilla trekking experience and golden monkey trekking.
The safari will start in Nairobi and end with drop off in Kigali.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Masai Mara
You will be met by your guide at the airport and after brief introduction and warm welcome then you will continue to your safari car.
After briefing, you will proceed to Masai Mara national reserve. The drive will take about 4 to 5 hours. You will have a stopover in Narok town before continuing to Masai Mara. You will also engage in an evening game drive and you will search for a variety of wildlife species such as prides of lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, leopards, Rhinos, Zebras, wildebeest among others. After your evening game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2; Full day Maasai Mara
On the 2nd day of your 7 days Masai Mara & Rwanda Gorillas safari, You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a full day of exploring the plains of Masai Mara national reserve as you search for the different wildlife species. During the morning game drive, you will look out for wildlife species such as the big five which includes leopards, lions, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos.
You will have your lunch ahead of another game drive in Masai Mara reserve and look out for wildlife species such as giraffes, elands, wildebeest, zebras, topis among others. After your afternoon game drive, you will return to your lodge where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 3; drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi
On the 3rd day of your 7 days Masai Mara & Rwanda Gorillas safari, After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out ahead of your drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi. You will be driven to the hotel in Nairobi for check in. You will also have an optional city tour around Nairobi and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4; flight from Nairobi to Kigali Rwanda
Your guide will drive you to the airport after breakfast at the hotel in Nairobi. On arrival at the airport in Kigali, your guide in Rwanda will welcome you and you will have a stop for lunch in Kigali.
After lunch in Kigali, your guide will drive you to Volcanoes national park for check in and dinner and overnight.

Day 5; Gorilla trekking
You will have breakfast early at your lodge and your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing from the RDB officials, set off for the gorilla trekking. This experience of gorilla trekking is a once in a life time adventure in Volcanoes national park. After being briefed, the rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the Gorillas.
You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures whose company you will cherish for 1 hour. The activity in Rwanda can take 3-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. In the afternoon you may go for an optional village tour for a cultural experience with a resident local guide. Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; Golden monkey trekking
On the 6th day of your 7 days Masai Mara & Rwanda Gorillas safari, After morning cup of tea you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your golden monkey trekking. You will have a short briefing before trekking into the forest to search for the golden monkeys.
You will return to the lodge and spend the rest of the day relaxing. You will also have an optional cultural tour experience to experience the Kinyarwanda culture. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (midrange), 5 Volcanoes Boutique hotel (luxury).
Day 7; drive to Kigali and departure
You will have breakfast at the lodge ahead of your drive to Kigali where your guide will drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Kigali which will bring the tour to an end.
