What is special about Serengeti National Park? Serengeti national park is a wildlife viewing destination which is located in the northern part of Tanzania. This destination is visited all throughout the year by tourists and is famous for the annual wildebeest migration.

The Seronera river is also found in this part of the national park and can be seen during safaris in the national park. 

Hippo pool

Many hippos can be seen during a safari around the central part of Serengeti in a pool which is formed where Seronera river meets Orangi river. There is also a parking lot, restrooms as well as a picnic place near the hippo pool.
