Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Serengeti Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Gorilla Trekking Experience, Transfer Back to Kigali
Our company safari guide will come to pick you up at your hotel of stay in Kigali. Set off from Kigali at 4:30am and embark on a 3 hours’ drive to Volcanoes national park. The briefing is at 7 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours.
Trekking through the steep, bamboo slopes and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Once you reach the gorillas, spend 1 hour with them as you stand 6 meters away.
Upon completion of this magical encounter, you will connect again with your driver / guide and transfer back to Kigali arriving in the evening.

Day 2: Flight to Tanzania (Own Booking)
After breakfast at your accommodation in Kigali City, you will proceed to Kigali Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Our Tanzania safari guide in Arusha will welcome you, brief you about your safari and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Burka Coffee Lodge for Budget, Tulia boutique hotel and spa for Mid-range, Gran Melia Arusha for Luxury.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 7 hours. Flight option available
You will have an early breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha Tanzania as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti National Park. This drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an option to enjoy views from the crater viewpoint.
Once in the Serengeti Park Tanzania wilderness, you will engage in a game drive around Serengeti national park to search for various wildlife species. Animals in Serengeti National Park like elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, impalas among others should be looked out for during your game drive in Serengeti National Park. After the game drive in Serengeti Plains, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Tukaone Serengeti camp for Budget, Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp for Mid-range, Melia Serengeti Lodge for Luxury.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge/camp in Serengeti Park Tanzania and your guide will drive you on a morning game viewing experience around the central part of Serengeti national park where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, rhinos among others.
After having your lunches, you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park as you look out for wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Departure

On this las day of your 5 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Serengeti Safari, you will have an early breakfast at your lodge/camp and check out. After checking out of the lodge with your packed lunch in hand, proceed on a road transfer to Arusha passing via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, picnic lunch enjoyed en-route. Proceed to Arusha and be dropped off at the airport for your flight, or hotel of stay in Arusha. This will end your 5 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Serengeti Safari.
