This 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Congo Gorilla Safari takes you to Kenya and Tanzania for wildlife safari experiences, as well as Eastern DR. Congo for gorilla trekking of the Eastern Lowland gorillas. Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Congo Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Ngorongoro Crater
On day 1 of the 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Congo Gorilla Safari, your Tanzania safari guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha and after a short briefing, you will start your safari to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy more wildlife viewing experiences. You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
On the 2nd day of the 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Congo Gorilla Safari, after breakfast, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park. You will have lunch in the national park and later you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti National Park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the Big 5 and many others during your safari. After your game drive, you will return for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
You will have an early breakfast ahead of the full day wildlife viewing activity as you explore Serengeti National Park. During the morning game drive, you will search for wildlife species like hyenas, zebras, impalas, serval cats, and many other species. You will also have lunch as you prepare for another game viewing adventure in the afternoon.
During your afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park, you will look out for a variety of wildlife and bird species such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, lions, leopards, impalas, gazelles among others. You will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve Kenya
On the 4th day of the 10 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Congo Gorilla Safari, after breakfast at the camp, proceed to drive to Masai Mara Reserve Kenya via the Isebania border where your Kenya safari guide shall meet you. Proceed to transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve the lodge as you look out for amazing wild game in the reserve, including some herds of wildebeests. Chance to witness the great wildebeest migration in Masai Mara National Reserve as well if in season. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Mara Camp

Day 5: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara Park Kenya
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast grab your packed lunch, and meet your safari driver to head to the plains of Maasai Mara for a full day adventure in this stunning savannah vegetation of Masai Mara as you watch many animals in large numbers such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras and many more. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and proceed for another game drive. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, Game Drive in Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara National Reserve and then check out of the lodge as you continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park across the Rift Valley escarpment as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. You will have an en-route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, and impalas among others.
Lunch will be served at your lodge after check and after lunch, you will have another game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park and you will visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive to have your dinner and overnight at Zziwa Bush Lodge.

Day 7: Fly to Kigali Rwanda (Own Booking), Kigali City tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you shall be driven to the airport for your flight to Kigali Rwanda. Upon your arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay. Depending on your time of arrival, you shall opt to enjoy a Kigali City tour visiting the Rwanda Genocide Memorial, Caplaki Craft Village, Inema Arts Centers, and Kimironko Craft Village. Dinner and overnight stay at Des Milles Collins Hotel.

Day 8: Pick-up and cross to Bukavu
Our company representative-guide/driver will pick you up and cross the border into Bukavu the Democratic Republic of Congo. On arrival at Bukavu, the nearest town to Kahuzi Biega, advance to your lodge for lunch and relax for the rest of the evening. You can opt for a tour of Bukavu town along with your driver’s guide if you wish. Dinner and overnight stay at Panaroma Hotel.

Day 9: Lowland gorilla trekking – Cyangungu
After enjoying your breakfast at the lodge, drive to the park headquarters for about 45 minutes for a briefing about the Eastern lowland gorillas. You will then set off to your fascinating experience of the lowland gorillas in the valleys of Kahuzi as you encounter different mammals, birds, and primates. It’s usually a 1-6 hours experience of the jungle, depending on their movement while watching them interact/play with each other as you take photos and videos
You will then descend back and meet up with your driver back to your hotel for dinner and overnight as the night before.

Day 10: Transfer back to Kigali, Departure
Have an early morning breakfast and head back to Kigali where your driver guide will drop you off at any hotel of your choice or Kigali International Airport, bringing your safari to an end.
Note that your Rwanda Visa expires immediately after you cross into Congo so you will have to reapply for another while at the border and find it ready after the tour.
