Mara River Post
Mara River Post is a permanent tented mid-range accommodation found on the Hill in the Mara areas, Northern Part of Serengeti National Park Tanzania. The camp is in Kogatende overlooking the stunning Mara River, renowned place for game viewing since there is great migration river crossing of herds of animals especially between June and October, perfect for safari adventure to Travellers and Tourists that visit Serengeti National Park. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6 hours’ drive from Arusha town to Serengeti National Park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the Kogatende airstrip then 30 minute’s to be transferred to the camp.
Mara River Post consists of 16 en suite comfortable and stylish tents overlooking the incredible Mara River and the Park. Tents vary in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double/twin for couple or sharing as well as family/group rooming options. Tents are well decorated, elevated with raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, Both In and Outdoor showers with hot and cold water heated , sink bathe tabs, shower, solar energy available, Dressing Mirror, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries, Complementary bottled water , white linen beddings, coffee making facilities, and other facilities. TENTS have verandas , Private sundecks and sitting area overlooking the spectacular view over Serengeti plains, wildlife migration since Mara River is the crossing point especially from June to October and surrounding areas . Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen and king sized beds. The camp has Cracking fireplaces pit where guests can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days.

A Full bar Tent with shared lounge with good selection of both soft and hard refreshments like beers, sodas, wines ,water , you relax in veranda which is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the African bush as you sip the cocktail overlooking at the spectacular views over the endless Serengeti plains, Wildlife beast migration and surrounding areas, During evening u relax on terraces/sundowners while overlooking Serengeti savannah plains.

Serengeti National Park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in Simiyu region. The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June – October are the best periods to be in Serengeti national park since its dry season , it offers best wildlife viewing when wild beast are moving seeking for pasture and water. It’s annually migration of wild beasts. The park contains over 70 big mammals like Buffaloes , elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, Impalas , Giraffes , antelopes mention but a few and 500 species of birds like; Flamingos, ostriches, grey-breasted spur fowl, Kori bustard, secretary birds and many more which enables more tourists to visit the park and stay for along time.
