Gnu Ndutu Migration Camp is a mid-range mobile accommodation owned and operated by Mawe Collection, which runs better properties across Tanzania. The camp moves with the Great Wildebeest Migration to the Ndutu area from December to March during calving season. The camp is situated close to Lake Ndutu, on the Ngorongoro side, in the southern plains of Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
How to get there;
It takes approximately 5-6 hours from Arusha city center to the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the nearby Ndutu airstrip, followed by a few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
About the camp
The Gnu Ndutu Migration camp consists of 10 comfortable and spacious en suite tents, including 2 family suites with single beds for individuals and double or triple occupancy, all overlooking the savannah plains in comfort.
The tents are well decorated and elevated on raised platforms, furnished with en-suite facilities that include a clean flushing toilet, bush showers with hot and cold water heated by fire, a safari bucket shower, solar energy, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries, complimentary bottled water, and other amenities.
Tents have open verandas and sitting areas overlooking the spectacular view over the savannah plain, wildlife roaming around and surrounding areas
Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed bedding with queen- and king-sized beds.
The camp has Cracking fireplaces where you can relax and share stories and experiences of the Tanzania wildlife safari not only that, but it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days.

A dining tent that serves different menus of both continental and local cuisine that meets guests appetite. The camp offers a continental breakfast, picnic lunch, and separate dining areas; it also serves indoor and outdoor dinner options, as well as bush barbecue dinners, all provided by welcoming staff.
You can have bush breakfasts as you enjoy the morning sunrises and bush dinners overlooking the stars in the sky. During the evening, you can relax on terraces or enjoy sundowners while overlooking the Ndutu savannah plains.
A well-stocked bar with both hard and soft drinks, you sip any drink of your choice overlooking the surrounding areas.

Serengeti national park is situated in Tanzania extending southern part of Kenya / that’s the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in simiyu region . The park is among the popular and famous parks in Tanzania covering 5700 square miles stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. June–October is the best period to be in Serengeti national park since it’s the dry season; it offers the best wildlife viewing when wildebeest are moving seeking pasture and water. It’s the annual migration of wild beasts.
The park contains over 70 large mammals, including buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, impalas, giraffes, and antelopes, as well as 500 species of birds, such as flamingos, ostriches, grey-breasted spur fowl, kori bustards, secretary birds, and many more, which encourages more tourists to visit the park and stay for a longer time.
